Marketing Manager

This role represents an opportunity to get in on the ground floor at a fast-growing design company, in a vital, strategic role leading our marketing department. We’re an energetic, young, ambitious company that designs and manufactures indoor and outdoor furniture that is simple, elegant, fun, and built to last in Los Angeles, CA. We work with the A&D community, furniture dealerships, and directly with customers to supply furniture across sectors, including workplace, hospitality, multi-family, and higher education.

RAD launched in Austin, TX in 2010, and since the beginning, we’ve been driven by a genuine commitment to taking care of our clients and our team. Our client list has grown to include Sweetgreen, Nike, Whole Foods, REI, Patagonia, and Amazon, and more big things are ahead. The next step is a larger reach by sharing our brand and story with the public as we launch direct to consumer availability and our new ecommerce platform. Our team is a tight-knit and collaborative crew that works hard and also rides bikes and skateboards down the LA river for coffee and occasionally plays soccer together on Thursdays.

The Role

You will run the marketing program, and be responsible for bringing fresh ideas, a strong design sense, and streamlined execution to our small team. You will collaborate directly with the founders and the product designers to create strategic marketing campaigns. You will build on our brand identity and help solidify the voice, cadence, and type of communication we have with our clients and customers. You will work on integrating our new target audience of residential consumers into our marketing program, while keeping our core trade industry top of mind.

You will be both the high level decision maker as well as the in-the-weeds executor. You will hire, and manage outside contractors to help fulfill day to day functions, and eventually develop into the role of Head of Marketing, where you will manage a team. This job will be in-person, based in our Frogtown office, with some remote flexibility.
