Warranty

LIMITED LIFETIME WARRANTY

RAD Furniture LLC (“RAD”) prides itself on the production of high quality craftsmanship in the production of its durable goods, and therefor extends a Limited Lifetime Warranty to its standard assortment of Tables, Chairs, Benches, Stools, Couches & Versatiles, except as noted. Custom products are warrantied on a case-by-case basis, upon client request. RAD’s standard warranty is valid from the date of delivery, to the original End User, and is non-transferable.

STRUCTURE

RAD warrants its welded steel Table frames, Stool and Chair profiles to be free from structural defects in material and/or workmanship for the life of the product. This warranty does not apply to damage resulting from accident, alteration, misuse, tampering, negligence, or abuse. RAD will, at its option, repair, replace, or refund the purchase price of any items found defective upon inspection by an authorized RAD representative.

METAL FINISH

The powder coat finish on our furniture is warranted against peeling, cracking or blistering for a period of five (5) years from the date of purchase. Failure of the powder coat finish due to abrasion, including abrasion caused by stacking the furniture against other furniture or scraping against other surfaces, is not covered by this warranty. Nor are reasonable levels of change in surface finish, including colorfastness, due to aging or exposure to light.

Exposure to salt water or salt air may cause powder coat finishes that have been damaged by abrasion to blister due to oxidation of the metal; such blistering and oxidation are not covered by this warranty. For projects with exposure to especially salty air, inquire about the upgraded metallized primer option, which can carry a more robust warranty.

This Warranty will not apply to damage to and/or failure of the metal caused by: moisture or other contamination detrimental to the metal because of improper packaging, storage or handling of the coated metal/aluminum prior to installation by the customer; scratching or abrading of the metal during or after installation by the customer; standing or ponding water; improper cleaning and/or pretreatment of the metal; corrosion of the metal substrate; or acts of God, falling objects, explosions, fire, or other such similar or dissimilar occurrences beyond RAD Furniture’s control.

WOOD

Buyer acknowledges that the appearance of the wood used to build a particular product may vary slightly from the wood used in any sample models. This is due to natural characteristics of the wood and the craftsmanship used to create each individual piece. Therefore, no representation, warranty and/or guarantee is made with respect to the exact colors and appearances of the wood.

REASONABLE EXCLUSIONS

Notwithstanding, this warranty does not cover damages to RAD products resulting from unloading, handling, installation, normal wear and tear, abuse, exposure to paint, liquids or corrosives, or any other damage not attributable to RAD. The warranty shall also be void if products are modified by persons not authorized by RAD, or if the product has not been properly maintained by the customer.

In no event shall RAD’s responsibility exceed the purchase price of the product or its replacement. In no event shall RAD be responsible for consequential or incidental damages, such as loss of use and time, inconvenience, commercial loss or damage to personal property, whether indirect or direct, and whether arising in contract or tort. In no event shall RAD’s responsibility exceed the purchase price of the product or its replacement. Some states do not allow the exclusion or limitation of incidental or consequential damages, so the above limitation or exclusion may not apply. This warranty gives you specific legal rights, and you may also have other rights that vary from state to state.

Some states do not allow limitations on how long an implied warranty lasts or do not allow the exclusion or limitation of incidental or consequential damages, so the preceding limitations or exclusions may not apply. This warranty gives the purchaser specific legal rights; however, the purchaser may also have other rights that may vary from state to state.
