The School series pays homage to a classic design with modern finishes and functionality. At dining, counter, or bar height, the School Simple Stool's 3/4" steel tube structure and upholstered seat pair well with RAD's Radius Table.
Upholstery: Combine one fourth cup dishwashing liquid per one gallon water. For deeper stains, combine one fourth cup dishwashing liquid and one cup bleach per one gallon water. To remove suntan lotion: apply cornstarch as an absorbent, remove excess with a straight edge, clean up residual with dishwashing liquid and water.
Metal: All powder coated products should be cleaned with either a soft cloth or soft-bristle brush, using a solution of mild anti-bacterial soap and (preferably warm) water. The best type of soap to use for this purpose is one that has emulsifiers that can break down the most common types of stains, like a pH-neutral liquid hand-dishwashing detergent. Exposed surfaces of powder coated products that are deemed the most critical should be cleaned regularly (on either a weekly or a bi-weekly schedule). These can be wiped down and rinsed with filtered water.
Steel is a readily available, endlessly recyclable material known for its strength and durability. Because it is near unbreakable, the majority of our chairs can support up to 600 pounds.
Powder coat has a long lifespan. Because it resists chipping and scratching, retains color, and produces no off-gassing, powder coat has become an industry-wide preference.. Because it is applied electrostatically, no particles are emitted into the environment during application. Steel can be re-coated if needed, indefinitely prolonging the lifespan of your furniture.
Manufacturing domestically gives us control over manufacturing inputs. This allows us to achieve efficiencies in production and material use, thereby limiting our waste.
